Ballet

Instructor: Lexi Koh

Levels

Advanced
ideally between 5-10 yrs previous training, or professionals restarting after a break
Intermediate
1-3 yrs previous classical training.
Beginners+
Suitable for able beginers, or those with 6 months previous training or dancers restarting after a long break.

Beginners

No prior experience needed.

Note: Students are welcome to attend a classes above or below their level of experience. However, the class level will not change accordingly.

Dress: Leotard, tights/leggings, ballet slippers (sheer skirt or warm-up pants, if desired)

Ballet Blast

Instructor: Lexi Koh / Rachel Factor

The class incorporates a ballet warm-up with an aerobic workout and high-energy-music. Focusing on strengthening and stretching muscle groups while improving posture and core strength.

Requirements: No prior experience needed

Cardio Kick

A high-energy, fun, invigorating cardio class that combines upper body, lower body and abdominal workouts. A great way to start the day.

Creative Drama and Movement

Instructor:

A dynamic class, that teaches students to express their unique individual characters using acrobatics, movement, and drama while developing confidence and a rewarding sense of achievement. Working both in groups and individually students develop trust, responsibility and cooperation skills.  
Requirements: No prior experience needed

Modern Dance

Instructor: Hila Avidan

Based on classic forms of dance, this style incorporates natural and pedestrian movements with artisic and abstract storytelling. The movements are both fluid and dynamic and the participant gains spacial and body awareness as well as benefiting from strength building and increased flexibility.

Fusion

Instructor: Halit Hurvitz

Fusion is a deeply vigorous practice that realigns the body, calms the mind, builds strength and cultivates a feeling of inner-peace. Utilizing classic yoga postures and breathing exercises, the class helps to improve posture, muscle and spine flexibility and strength, and appropriate breathing for every day life.

Groove

Instructor:Rachel Factor  
Groove is a high energy dance class that uses a creative blending of many contemporary dance forms including jazz, funk and hip-hop.   Utilizing pedestrian movements, Groove allows the participant to access the joy of dance without requiring a great deal of technical training.

Jazz

Instructor:  Rachel Factor

Adult & Teen
Classic jazz dance technique including warm-up, isolations, floor stretches, strengthening, across-the-floor and combination. Styles of the routine will alternate between lyrical (ballet technique & jazz combined), theatrical, and modern jazz.
Recommended: Ballet training
Dress: Workout clothes, jazz shoes

Levels:

Teens & Jazz I  Suitable for those with no prior experience

Advanced Jazz   (invitation only)

Pilates

Instructor: Liat Odel Levy

Pilates is a class that focuses on the core of the body, abdominals, lower back, and pelvic floor.  By creating strength in the body’s core we allow for more rapid healing in all other parts of the body.  The focus is not on repetition of exercises but on slow precise execution.  The class starts with breathing exercises that oxygenate the muscles, moves to focusing exercises to realize the body’s core and then to movements exercises that increase strength and balance.

Rekuday-am

Folk dance in circle and line forms. Music varies in style, culture, and times. It is fun and invigorating class sutible for all levels.

Strength

Instructor: Moran Rotman / Shira Tjong-Alverez

The class starts with a light cardio warm-up, to increase blood flow to all major muscles, and continues with a series of  resistance exercises using hand weights, elastic tubing, and your own body weight.  All exercises  are executed in effective and focused movements  that develop strength, endurance and definition. The focus on form, technique, and execution also provides the resistance necessary to build stronger bones and a faster metabolism.
